“Upon the sale of our previous house, my wife and I had reached quite the impasse of purchasing and renovating an existing house vs building new. We chose to build new. Being as this was our first new house build it was initially intimidating. By the time we were finished our first meeting at Chris’s office, making all the necessary design choices, we not only felt like we had no doubt that we were making the right decision, we were certain that we had chosen the right man for the job and couldn’t wait for the shovel to hit the dirt.
Our construction timeline was set out as 8 months. In that time we got to know all the different trades that Popick homes contracts. I can truly say the CMN construction team of Clay Nelson, Roland and Sheldon did some of the best framing and concrete work that I’ve ever seen. The drywall and muddling crew of O.K. Drywall, Ryan Bennet of Coyote electrical, Brian Cloutier on flooring, Crutches plumbing and heating, our cupboards, doors and trim installed by Jon Garries and His son of All Interiors and Rod Gross and family with the stonework, round out the group. Also a shout out to Devin Dyck of Local Boys for handling the garbage.
My family and I have now been enjoying our house for over a year now and to date, we have not experienced any issues as the construction is solid. In that time frame, we have done a fair amount of additions to our property including a large shed, concrete paver patio, fence, and a pergola. I mention these as I required advice as to the best way and products to complete these tasks and Chris was always a phone call or text away from giving me the necessary advice.

“We called Chris Popick on May long weekend to look at a spec house he had for sale. Chris was more than willing to show us the house and spent over an hour with us that afternoon. The house wowed us from the start! Stucco and rock exterior with big windows in the basement. Once inside the house was finished with high-end finishes, hardwood floors, tile floors, quartz countertops throughout, tile and glass backsplash. Double car garage and large deck off the back. The house had an open floor plan and large bedrooms with tons of storage and a bright open basement.
Buying this brand new house was excellent experience from start to finish! Chris was awesome and always willing to answer all of our questions and took the time to spend with us, even after the sale was complete!
